5 Kidless Days

It has been very quiet around here lately. Also very CLEAN. For the first couple days after we said goodbye to Elijah, everything felt strange. It was like we were looking over our shoulders trying to find him. When I get home from working late and I go look into the crib, it is strange that no one is in there. When I sit down to check my email and no one is at my feet it feels wrong. I guess we just got really used to having him around. It is hard to have a little person come in and completely take over your life in an instant, and then leave you just as quickly. We don't remember what we used to do before so it's impossible to just go back.
